|Printing documents is a very simple process that takes just one click of a button. However, there is a lot that goes into the maintenance of a printer. If you are a person who prints documents regularly, you will appreciate how difficult it is to buy cartridges when your ink runs out. Printer ink is very expensive, and you will find yourself short of a lot of money if you stick to buying original cartridges.
These days there are a number of third party manufacturers who will make cartridges themselves. There is a law that forbids printer manufacturers from disallowing the use of third party consumables on your printer. So, you can buy cartridges from other manufacturers. Such cartridges are known as compatible cartridges, and they will work out to be much cheaper that buying OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridges.
For example, take the Hewlett Packard Business Inkjet 2800. We manufacture compatible cartridges for this printer, and they come in different capacities and colors. There are certain things that you need to remember when you use compatible cartridges:
1) Some manufacturers use cheap ink, with a view to reducing the price. This may lead to the malfunction of the print head of your printer.
2) Certain HP printers have chips in the, which will not read refilled cartridges, so you need to be careful.
3) All inks have a 'sell-by' date, and if this date is crossed then the printer will register that also, so make sure that you do not stock up cartridges over a long period of time.
The most difficult challenge that any third party manufacturer faces is that of keeping up quality while keeping prices down. A lot of people have managed to achieve one or the other, but we have found the perfect balance between clarity of print, quality of ink and the price of our cartridges. To prove that we stand by our HP Business Inkjet 2800 ink cartridges, we will provide warranties for all our cartridges. Besides, the ink that we use is ISO 9001 certified.
Sometimes with certain manufacturers, you may find that the compatible cartridge which they claim will work on your printer is not functioning as promised. As per the Sale of Goods Act (1979) the cartridge must be of satisfactory quality, and so you can demand compensation. But such issues will never occur with us, because all our cartridges are catalogued neatly for your convenience.
A lot of people use old cartridges once they run out of ink, filling them with new ink. There are a lot of disadvantages to these refilled cartridges, in that the prints may be streaky or the ink may not even register, or be of low quality. Be wary of cheap products.
The HP Business Inkjet 2800 uses a number of cartridges like the HP 10 Ink Cartridge - Black, that holds sixty nine milliliters of ink and can print nearly thousand four hundred pages. Then there is the Cyan HP 11 Ink Cartridge, which can hold twenty eight milliliters of ink, and the HP 11 Ink cartridge - Magenta, which also holds twenty eight milliliters.
