The cool dreamscape is the Scourged Forest gaming mat from Zuzzy Miniatures Terra-Flex Flexible Terrain System line. I'm going to use this mat for role-playing games and wargaming, but I thought it would be great to use in the comic as well. This is the 4' x 6' mat. They also make 2' x 2', 3' x 3', 2' x 4', and 4' x 4'.

I haven't painted it yet. I thought it would look more dream-like if I left it unpainted. Raik has ventured into a vast expanse of monotone wasteland! I think it looks pretty cool this way. I'll be painting it after Raik's dream sequence is done, and it will most definitely show up again at some point. Visit the Zuzzy Miniatures to see how great this mat looks when painted.

Zuzzy also makes a bunch of other great gaming products. They recently released the Sulfur Fields gaming mat. I don't have it, but it looks totally awesome. I'm hoping they come out with a dungeon tile mat. They also have trees, stumps, hills, rocks, mounds, and more! If you need cool gaming terrain, definitely go to Zuzzy Miniatures. If you buy some stuff, let them know you saw it here first!

This mat is great! Check out the detail in some of the set prep photos below as the crew rolls it out and puts the finishing touches on it.
