Annotations

Panel #1 - I wasn't able to give the passage as long a look as I would have liked. I don't have enough wall pieces yet. So, I put a floor piece on end at the end to suggest a turn in the corridor. I'll have to make some more wall pieces.

Panel #2 - The stool is made out of Sculpey for the seat and Stikfas sprue bits for the legs.

The outer corner pieces for the alcove were actually quite difficult to make, and broke during the set construction process. However, I've devised a solution that should solve the problem. I'll get the crew on it ASAP.

Panel #6 - In Dungeons and Dragons, a mimic is a carnivorous monster that can change its shape to appear like inanimate objects to lure the unwary.

This episode of POTB is based on an evening D&D gaming session. I was DMing my regular group through an adventure of my own creation, when they came upon a 10' deep alcove with only a stool in it. To my surprise, this rather mundane piece of furniture made them so uncomfortable that they would not enter the alcove. Not a single player. They discussed it for a few minutes and then walked on by. So, this episode is dedicated to those players!
