Annotations

I know you fans have been waiting a long time. But here it finally is. A full-blown, unbridled, non-stop action episode! I think it came out very well. The transparent arcs do a good job of indicating the motion of the weapons. The digital red blood in panel #7 looks great. Expression, poses, f/x - it all came out better than I hoped. The only downside on this is that it took about 50% longer to do the episode.

Panel #1 - The ranger is suspended from micro thread.

Panel #2 - I created the transparent arc using Visio ellipse shapes and Union and Subtraction shape operations. One of the bonus images shows what it looked like before it was finished.

In order to get the rangers sword to extend straight from his arm I had to disconnect the hand piece from the forearm piece of the action figure. I then used Handi-tak to reposition the hand on the forearm so the sword could be held parallel to the arml. See one of the bonus vote images to get a glimpse of what it looked like.

Panel #3 - I created the digital blood in Photoshop. The same image is used in panels #6, #7, and #9, just resized and recolored. The blood originally appeared in episode #14.

Panel #7 - The green blood on the ranger's sword is melted yellow green Crayon.

Panel #8 - The red blood on the ranger's leg is melted red Crayon.
