Perils of the Bold #16

Annotations

Panel #1 - I knew that Kreex's mouth would e hard to do, due to the strange shape of his face. I added the fangs to make his mouth more obvious. Even so, I'm going to have to work on it some more. It looks okay from a distance, but when I get to closeups, I'll have to have a much better plan.

And, yes, the mimic's name is Mimi. Mimi the Mimic.

Panel #5 - Privy humor.

Panel #7 - The sparkles around the rod are just starburst-shaped brush patterns with outer glow (created in Photoshop).

Panel #9 - The chaise is scratchbuilt from Sculpey clay based on a picture I found of a dollhouse chaise. I originally was going to use a Playmobil padded chair, but I thought a chaise would be a lot better. Unfortunately, I didn't think of this until two days ago. I searched for a dollhouse chaise at nearby stores, but couldn't find one. So I spent the whole evening sculpting the chaise. Considering how much effort I put into it, you'll no doubt be seeing it again.
